I believe that people’s home, work and play environments shape the way they feel and perform every day. A functional and aesthetically pleasing space positively impacts everyone exposed to that environment. Architecture, natural materials and clean lines inspire my designs that are tailored to reflect the client’s personal styles of traditional, transitional, modern, and contemporary. The client’s personal preference of formal vs. casual will also dictate the overall look and feel of each space. I strive to create a timeless design within each style genre and bring in color, accessories, artwork, etc. to showcase the individuality of each client. As a designer, I use my knowledge and experience to make sure all functional aspects have been maximized while creating a space that “Wows” each client.

My appreciation of art, lead me to ISU where I studied and graduated with a Bachelors in Art. While studying art and contemplating life and work after college, I realized that interior design was my ultimate medium to achieve my life goals. Interior design gave me the ability to change people’s lives by giving them a design that functionally makes their lives better while spiritually giving them an environment they love to be in. I continued my education and graduated with a Masters degree in Interior and Environmental Design.

I have practiced many different areas of design that include facilities planning, hospitality design, office design, and residential design. From designing and general contracting the construction and remodeling of floor plans, to placing the accessories that finish the space, I can do as much or as little as each client needs to complete the project.

Experience in contemporary, high-end traditional and transitional designs has given me appreciation for all design styles.

This knowledge, appreciation, and experience allows me to create a custom design that is tailored to be the best solution for each client’s project on any budget. I believe that everyone deserves to be surrounded by good design. The budget should only affect the quality of materials and labor available to each project, not the style and/or overall feel of the finished space. It is my job to figure out how to marry the client’s needs and wants with the overall budget for each project.

I love being an interior designer and I am passionate about what I do because I feel that interior design can and does make a huge impact on people’s everyday quality of life. It is an honor for me to be invited into someone’s home or commercial space.   I will listen, ask questions, and work with you to develop the best design solution for your project.
